Japan Women’s 60s

In Japan, we have developed our own unique rules to promote “compassionate” walking football, where people of all ages—from young children to the elderly and those with disabilities—can enjoy playing together.

While we have been committed to this non-confrontational spirit, we have also trained hard with a focus on winning for this world tournament.

With deep respect for our opponents, we aim to play fair, stay safe and injury-free, keep smiling, and never give up until the final whistle.

We look forward to seeing you at the tournament.

We are honored to represent Japan, and it’s very our pleasure to join the 2025 Nations Cup as also first of women’s competition.

We are truly delighted to have the opportunity to connect with people from around the world through Walking Football. We believe this tournament will serve as a wonderful opportunity to further promote the sport globally and contribute to its continued growth and development.

Representing Japan, we will compete with the utmost respect for all of our opponents and give our all in every match as we strive for victory.

We’re sincerely looking forward to seeing all of you fellow participants at the tournament.

Japan Men’s 70s

We believe walking football has a magical way of bringing people together — no matter your age, gender, or whether your knees make strange noises when you sit down. It’s all about breaking down barriers and celebrating our differences.

The JAPAN OVER70 TEAM includes 10 players aged 70 to 82, coming from all over Japan, and two amazing women in their 70s who support us as staff — and sometimes keep us in line!
We’re all big fans of walking football and even bigger fans of having a good time. At this tournament, we hope to seriously enjoy the game and connect with participants from around the world, both on and off the pitch.

We want this to be a meaningful and memorable experience in our lives.
Let’s enjoy this experience together!

Japan Men’s 60s

The Japan Walking Football National Team (O-60 Team) hopes to make use of the experience gained from participating in the previous tournament (World Nations Cup 2023) held at St. George’s Park in England.

At the last tournament, we received the “Most Sporting Team” award, we think, because not only our competitiveness but also our fair play spirits deserved it. We intend to approach this tournament in Spain with the team’s goals in mind, focusing on “inclusive” and “international exchange,” which are the essence of walking football.

By bringing the experience of this world tournament back home, we hope to contribute to the promotion of walking football in cooperation with the Japan Football Association.

We are sincerely looking forward to meeting fellow participants at the tournament.
