ANNOUNCEMENT: LAWS OF THE GAME UPDATE!
Most Nations are satisfied with the current FIWFA Laws of the Game.
RESULTS OF VOTE
For the 1st time, and as a new policy, FIWFA is now asking all its members to vote on these proposed amendments for 2026:
1. Allow the kick in to be either on or behind the line. This will keep the game flowing.
85% IN FAVOUR
2. Increase the penalty distance rule from 1 metre to 2 metres. This will reduce the problem of the step-back controversy.
77% IN FAVOUR
These changes will now be implemented. The definitive FIWFA LOTG 2026 will be available on the website in January.
